Therapist (LGSW)This position is open for someone fully licensed or for someone seeking fulfill their 4000 supervised hour requirements.
Supervision can be provided in both group and individual settings.Job DescriptionThe Individual Therapist is responsible for conducting assessments, developing and executing treatment plans, facilitating individual and group therapy, and providing clinical support within their assigned program.
Essential Duties : Facilitate individual and group therapies for adolescents.Complete risk assessments, initial safety plans, biopsychosocial assessments, and treatment plans within required timelines.
Coordinate treatment goals and services with the client’s treatment team, including 30-day treatment plan reviews and updates.
Provide progress updates to parents in collaboration with the family therapist.Conduct risk or crisis assessments and provide crisis intervention / management as needed.
Complete documentation (assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, group notes, discharge summaries) timely and according to standards.
Attend weekly treatment team meetings, staff meetings, and clinical supervision.Represent the facility in meetings, trainings, and conferences as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications and SkillsMaster’s Degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field, or enrollment in a Doctorate program from an accredited or state-approved graduate school.
