JOBSUMMARY
Under the generaldirection of the Clinical Nurse Manager and the direct supervisionof the Clinical Leader / Charge Nurse the ST functions to facilitatethe safe and effective outcome of intraoperative surgicalprocedures.
The ST processes expertise in the theory andapplication of sterile and aseptic techniques following the nursingpractice standards established by the specific unit / department bythe rules regulations and / or standards established by the StateBoard of Nursing the Joint Commission for Accreditation of HealthCare Organizations AORN and AST and appropriate specialtyorganizations relevant to the patient population undercare.

Experience : Clinical experience in an acute care setting as aSurgical technologist preferred
Education :
An associate degree in Surgical Technology isrequired
LicensesCertifications and / or Registration :
Surgical Technologist Certification (NBSTSA)
EMR System : EPIC experiencepreferred
