Key Responsibilities : Fixed Asset Management : Maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules, recording entries and calculating depreciation through Deltek CostPoint 8.
1.Account Reconciliations : Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly schedules and reconciliations for prepaid expenses, assets, and liabilities to ensure accurate and auditable general ledger information.
Financial Statement Review : Analyze balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and consolidated financial reports, ensuring compliance with externally required disclosures.
Statement Preparation : Assist in the preparation of annual and quarterly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Monthly Closings : Compile, review, and record financial information in the general ledger, complete monthly closings, and effectively communicate results to management.
Audit Support : Collaborate on interim and year-end audit requirements, conducting necessary research and reconciliations.
Cash Management : Reconcile cash accounts and manage daily cash reporting duties.Chart of Accounts Maintenance : Oversee maintenance of the chart of accounts in Deltek CostPoint 8.
1.Rate Processing : Handle monthly indirect rates, pools, and service center allocation processing.Qualifications : Education & Certification : Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, along with an active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
Experience : 10+ years of accounting / finance experience with a deep understanding of GAAP, FASB, JTR, and FAR.Technical Proficiency : Mandatory experience with Deltek, Costpoint Accounting Systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Cognos Impromptu Reports, and payroll systems (ADP).
Strong knowledge of federal and state accounting laws is essential.
