We are seeking an Environmental Project Manager (EIR Scientist) to join our Louisville, KY or Evansville, IN team! Come join us!

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to :

  • Manage environmental, due diligence, and brownfields projects in Kentucky, Indiana, and regionally, including all aspects of the project life cycle such as proposal generation, technical execution, reporting, and invoicing.
  • Execute project work appropriate for experience level related to due diligence, site investigation, site characterization, remediation, environmental compliance, industrial hygiene, and related environmental consulting areas.
  • Work closely with the Environmental Department Manager to develop new clients and expand services provided to existing clients.
  • Actively participate in professional and technical organizations appropriate for core skill set and client needs.
  • Positively interact with internal and external clients, service partners, and contractors.
  • Promote a safety-first culture that values proactive measures and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with other team members toward a common goal of providing client-centric services with high quality interactions and deliverables.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in environmental science, Geology, Engineering, or other applied science,
  • Minimum 5 years of experience (7+ years preferred) including a combination of project management, field work, data evaluation, technical writing, and QA / QC in the environmental consulting field.
  • Working knowledge of procedures and methodologies related to due diligence, site investigation, remediation, industrial hygiene, and environmental compliance.
  • Experience with client management, business development, and participation in professional organizations.
  • Experience with implementation and supervision of health and safety requirements.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently or in a team setting.
  • Excellent problem solving and general scientific evaluation skills
  • Excellent time management skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple activities on an ongoing basis.
  • Must be able to pass drug screen and motor vehicle background check.

Technical Requirements :

  • Experience with environmental consulting and project management in Kentucky and Indiana.
  • Qualification as an Environmental Professional as per ASTM E1527.
  • 40-hr HAZWOPER training and 8-hour annual refresher.
  • Complete Atlas Project Manager I training within 6 months of hire.
  • Accredited Asbestos Building Inspector in Indiana and / or Kentucky preferred.
