is seeking a skilled and motivated Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing residential and commercial construction projects, overseeing estimating, budgets based on initial drawings, and detailed take-offs, and fostering strong relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
Responsibilities : -Conduct estimating and budgeting based on full and partial drawings, utilizing tools such as PlanSwift and Bluebeam.
- Perform take-offs and quantity surveys to accurately assess project requirements.-Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met.-Monitor project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary to meet budget and timeline objectives.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are upheld.-Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to provide updates on project status and address any issues or concerns.
- Prepare and present project reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders.Qualifications : -Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, PlanSwift, and Bluebeam.
- Experience with historical restoration projects is preferred.-Demonstrated experience in estimating and managing large projects.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage projects with precision.-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.-Proven ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Work Location : -This position is located in Montrose, CO, and surrounding areas. Relocation to the area is required for consideration.
