Description :
The Physician Liaison Specialist is an integral part of our Marketing Department and is responsible for facilitating, strengthening, and maintaining physician relationships with outside physicians and other clinical groups.
The physician liaison’s primary focus is to bridge the communication gap between external clinical stakeholders and our specialty physicians.
We are looking for a candidate that demonstrates strong interpersonal, communication, and light public speaking skills. The majority of duties will be executed via travel within the Greater Atlanta Area.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Meet with local primary and specialty physicians to develop and maintain relationships
- Schedule weekly events such as physician lunches and dinners.
- Meet with outside stakeholders to discuss patient care, scheduling operations, and new treatments.
- Assist in marketing efforts.
- Accurately relay pertinent information to the marketing manager and key stakeholders.
- Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Requirements :
- A bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, healthcare administration, or related field.
- Experience in healthcare sales or relationship management is a plus.
- General healthcare knowledge, especially related to specialty offerings and procedures.
- Frequent travel locally in the Greater Atlanta area.
- Good reporting knowledge.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate skill level in MS Office products, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, light public speaking, and organizational skills
- Ability to function with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated professionalism, dedication to quality, and strong work ethic.
