Cherry Health, Michigan’s largest Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), operates in six counties across the state, is based in Grand Rapids.

With a team of more than 800 health care professionals at 20 locations, Cherry Health focuses on removing barriers, expanding access, and delivering comprehensive quality health care services to underserved communities, regardless of an individual’s insurance status or ability to pay.

We provide primary care, dental, vision, behavioral health, pharmacy services, substance abuse services, school based health centers and more.

This is a full time - 40 hr per week- benefit eligible position.

Requirements :

License required to practice dentistry in Michigan, DEA registration, and insurable as a dentist for liability coverage required.

Responsibilities :

Provide direct patient care and treatment.Assist with the development, implementation, and monitoring of clinic policies, procedures and protocols, as needed to achieve Cherry Street Services Inc.

goals and objectives.Assist with the development, implementation, and monitoring of Dental Quality Assurance program.Assist in the day-to-day supervision and training of semi-professional and paraprofessional staff.

Participate in the after hours and weekend call system.Insure appropriate referrals which encourage continuity of care.Attend departmental, internal and external meetings as required.

Understand and adheres to CSHS’s compliance standards as they appear in CSHS’s Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy.

Keep abreast of all pertinent federal, state and CSHS’s regulations, laws, and policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.
