Job Summary

This position is responsible for recruiting and providing admission counseling to prospective students.

Minimum hourly rate : $16.38 per hour. This position will remain open until filled.

Responsibilities

Recruits students. (60%)

  • Attends recruitment events, including college and career fairs.
  • Visits high schools to recruit students.
  • Makes admissions presentations at high schools.
  • Coordinates activities with high school counselors.

Provides admission guidance to prospective students. (20%)

  • Meets with prospective students and parents to provide information and assistance.
  • Assists students in the completion of admissions documents.

Performs related duties. (20%)

  • Assists with on-campus visitation programs.
  • Assists with graduation exercises.
  • Maintains records and prepares reports.
  • Assists with summer Orientations.
  • Assists with dual enrollment program.

Required Qualifications

  • Baccalaureate degree in a course of study related to the occupational field or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
  • Must hold a valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Related experience preferred.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) candidates are encouraged to apply.

  • Skill in the completion of a variety of reports.
  • Skill in oral and written communication.
