Responsibilities
Duties : The Senior Software Engineer at CNH Industrial America LLC in Racine, WI will be responsible for operating Map products for Case New Holland Agricultural implements, such as tractors, combines, and sprayers.
The duties include utilizing the Map software, which primarily focuses on front end functionality, and using C++ and Java skillsets.
Researching, writing, developing, testing, and evaluating software programs. Collaborating with teams to facilitate deployment related to software programs.
Determining purpose, application, and feasibility of new or enhancement of existing software. Creating and updating documentation for designs, and all phases of the project.
Collaborating with external customers to troubleshoot and solve any issues that arise. Coordinating engineering efforts and provide engineering assistance to internal teams or external customers.
Analyzing and comprehending new developments in the fields of engineering design, methods, and applications. Providing or assisting with training requirements as it relates to new or existing software.
Assisting with quote or request for quote process. Participating in continual learning, understanding, improvements, and promoting within the quality management system in accordance with ISO standards.
Position is 100% remote. Salary : $113,250 - $166,100 / year.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements : Requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, plus 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or related occupation.
The 3 years of experience must include 3 years of experience with each of the following : 1) C++ or Java; 2) designing and developing new software programs;
3) testing and improving existing software programs; and 4) documenting designs and phases of ongoing projects.
