Overview
The Internal Audit Intern will provide support to our Internal Audit team by assisting in internal control testing in order to meet reporting deadlines.
The position will work directly with the Senior Accounting and Controls Specialist to learn the most efficient way to perform and document tests, report progress made, and to raise any issues encountered.
Additional help may be needed with special projects.
Responsibilities
- Communicate daily progress, questions, and issues to Senior Accounting and Controls Specialist
- Assist with special projects as needed
- Assist in SOX testing, identify exceptions and communicate to Senior Accounting and Controls Specialist
- Gather audit evidence / supporting documentation for the SOX compliance audit
- Assist with writing new policies and procedures related to internal audit
- Other duties / projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Ability to take verbal / written instruction and execute with confidence
- Team player who can also produce independent results
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong time management skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organization skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or equivalent required

The system will be objective and non-discriminatory.
Pay Range : $13.57-$18.55
Pay Grade : 1
