The Cleaner / Spotter of an Environmentally Friendly Martinizing Plant is responsible for ensuring the overall production quality and profitability of garment cleaning.
We typically look for a person with three (3) years of industry experience, who not only has prior knowledge of running a Dry Cleaning Plant, but is also open minded to seeing the benefits of using the Martinizing program and systems of production.
At Martinizing, a Cleaner / Spotter will daily be responsible for such items as :
- Professional Spotting including recognizing the type of stain and either pre spotting or post spotting that garment
- Running dry cleaning loads
- Finishing of garments
- Overseeing finishers & pressers to ensure quality work at profitable production levels
- Overall control of work
- Sorting of garments to proper stations throughout Plant
Experience working in a fast paced environment similar to farming, industrial, or manufacturing labor
- Flexible hours including Saturdays
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to handle client's garment with care
- Good hand / eye coordination and the ability to physically manipulate the pressing equipment.
- Previous pressing experience preferred, but not required and must be 18 or older.
