A law firm is seeking an Employment Litigation Counsel to join their team in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in employment litigation and a deep understanding of employment and labor law issues.

Job Overview :
The Employment Litigation Of Counsel will defend and litigate lawsuits concerning various employment-related claims, counsel employers on employment law matters, and represent employers in different legal settings.
The role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
Duties :
- Defend and litigate lawsuits involving a broad range of employment-related claims and agency charges
- Advise, counsel, and train employers on various employment and labor law issues
- Represent employers in court, arbitration, administrative agencies, and mediations in employment matters, including class / collective actions and discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage-and-hour, contract, employment tort, and non-compete cases
- Preferred experience with Class Action / PAGA cases
- Supervise associate and paralegal work, delegate assignments, and provide feedback
- Stay updated on current agency (state and federal) procedures
Requirements :
- JD from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials
- 9+ years of experience in employment litigation with significant first-chair capacity
- Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills
- Commitment to professionalism, collegiality, and teamwork
Skills :
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to excellence
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Education and Certifications :
JD from an accredited law school
