Apartment Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift - Up to $25 / hr - Detroit, MI Come join a locally owned company looking for reliable employees with the potential to be hired permanently! Responsibilities :
- Complete maintenance requests as assigned
- Perform basic maintenance duties including flooring, drywall, electrical, heating & cooling, carpentry, painting, cleaning, and landscaping
- Prepare apartments for new tenants to move in
- Handle after-hour matters on occasion
- Assure properties look maintained for attractive curb appeal
- Purchasing and organizing materials
Qualifications / Skills :
- Minimum 1 year of maintenance or construction experience.
- Must have previously held a long-term position with responsibilities
- High School Diploma
- Have your own reliable work truck or van able to transport materials needed
As the Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the completion of punch lists of work established for preparing an unoccupied apartment for its new tenant.
You must work well with limited supervision and be able to ensure that the properties are properly maintained. Multitasking and the ability to adapt to change is a must.
