JOB DESCRIPTION
Wood is currently recruiting for a Piping Engineering Designer III for an S3D Onshore Project in our Houston, TX Office Onshore Service Line.
Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required
RESPONSIBILITIES
Need S3D software experience to do
- Area lead ability who can do facility layout and assist lead with overall budget and schedule
- Equipment modeling in S3D
- Piping design modeling in S3D
- Pipe support modelingin S3D
- Pipe routing for Onshore facilities (Heavy Layout a plus)
- Capable of drawing production a plus
- TWIC Card and Basic Plus required
QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of ten (10) years experience in Piping Design / Drafting
- A minimum of two (2) years of college or technical school in a relevant discipline or equivalent work experience
- Ten (10) years Onshore Piping Design in the Oil and Gas Industry
- Ability to work well with Clients, Project Management and team members
- Presents professionally with good communication skills both orally and written
- Expert level abilities with piping layout and design
