Jardim Meisner Salmon Sprague & Susser, P.C. is seeking a motivated and experienced Junior Partner with a solid book of business, approximately $300,000, to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in tax, estate planning and administration, and small business law. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage a diverse caseload, provide high-quality legal services, and contribute to the growth of our firm.

Responsibilities : Tax Law :
Tax Law :
- Provide legal advice on various tax matters, with a focus on income tax issues.
- Work closely with clients to develop tax strategies and ensure compliance with federal and state tax laws.
- Experience in income tax is highly desirable but not mandatory.
Estates & Trusts :
- Handle all aspects of estate planning and administration, including the creation and management of trusts.
- Advise clients on estate tax matters, including implementation of tax strategies to minimize estate tax liabilities.
- Administer estates and trusts, ensuring compliance with legal and tax obligations.
Small Business Law :
- Assist clients with the formation of corporations, partnerships, and LLCs.
- Draft and review agreements among business owners, including operating agreements and buy / sell agreements.
- Provide legal support to small businesses during their operation, as well as during purchase and sale transactions.
- Represent businesses in various legal matters, ensuring their interests are protected throughout the business lifecycle.
Litigation Support :
- Oversee and manage corporate and estate-related litigation cases.
- Provide litigation support as needed, although this will be a smaller part of the overall role.
- Coordinate with senior partners to ensure effective representation of clients in court.
Qualifications :
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the NJ State Bar and in good standing.
- A book of business valued at approximately $300,000.
- Strong experience in tax, estate planning and administration, and small business law.
- Ability to manage and grow a diverse caseload with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
