Culinary Leader (Sous Chef)

At Uncle Julio’s we believe in quality, and we know that starts with our people. As an hourly Culinary Leader, you will be trusted to be a shift leader for the heart of the house, our kitchen.

You’ll have the opportunity to engage with our team at a higher level, be a leader among the team, and gain experience that could launch your career into restaurant management.

As a Culinary Leader, you will have a mixture of Line Cook shifts along with 1-3 kitchen leader shifts each week.

Note : You must be willing to start as a cook to be eligible for fast-track promotion to Culinary Leader.

• Prior Line Cook or Sous Chef experience required
• Strong knowledge of kitchen processes
• Prior kitchen training experience
• Must be willing to stand on your feet for long periods of time
• Must be able to carry / lift 15-30Ibs
• Varying schedule that includes weekends and most holidays
• Must have all required food / alcohol certifications as designated by location.
• Must be extremely focused
• Excellent communication skills
