Job purpose

The Sales Manager - CMD will manage branch sales personnel as it pertains to sales, gross profit, market share and overall customer satisfaction.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Manager and supervise construction machinery sales personnel
  • Manager all unit sales functions and processes
  • Responsible for increasing market share targets as assigned
  • Increase branch sales volumes per forecast
  • Develop and maintain increased customer relationships in market place
  • Promote good welfare among the company and its divisions
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of previous experience
  • High School Diploma, GED or Bachelor's Degree in applied discipline preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Must have a working knowledge of the above titled position and how it relates to the overall business and its objectives
  • Must meet goals and objectives set forth by the company
  • Must conform to company policies and procedures set forth by the company
  • Must have current driver's license and good driving record (if Applicable)
  • Must have the ability to work flexible hours, days and weekends
  • Must be proficient with Windows System (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Access and Outlook)
  • Must be dependable and able to work independently
  • Must maintain good client relations
  • Must maintain a professional appearance
  • Must promote and maintain a clean, neat and safe environment
  • Must have the ability to travel and stay overnight
  • Must have the ability to supervise and motivate others
  • Must have the ability to effectively evaluate others
  • Must meet minimum performance standards for all assignments
  • Must protect the company assets and interest
