Title Specialist

We are looking for a Title Specialist to join our team!

In this role no 2 days will ever be the same, you will be partnering with our internal teams and borrowers to help mitigate any title risk.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

• Daily job duties include title review of construction projects, mitigating potential risk for the organization, managing pipeline.
• Review and manage pipeline daily to ensure all titles are ordered in a timely manner.
• Establish and manage a national title relationship to support the growth initiatives of Builders Capital.
• Performing title curative activities such as obtaining lien releases, reviewing divorce decrees, reviewing trusts, and corporate documents as it relates to loan origination or loan servicing.
• Work closely with Corporate Counsel, Title Curative Specialist, Closing Team, and Loan Officers by providing updates on current title reviews and provide solution-oriented answers.
• Order and follow up on all necessary curative documents.
• Work across departments to help resolve any issues.
• Perform other related duties and special projects, as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• 4 to 5 years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Working experience in lending, banking, or real estate.
• Title experience is preferred.
• Provide best-in-class service to borrowers from application through loan servicing. This includes timely and accurate processing of mortgage loans from application through loan closing and managing a portfolio of servicing customers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP’s in Excel are a plus.

Hourly range for this position is $29.00 - $35.00 per hour commensurate with experience and education.
