Big Data Developer

General Description :

We are looking for an experienced Big Data Engineer with 12 years of experience in developing large-scale data applications.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spark, and Scala , along with hands-on experience using AWS technologies such as EMR, EKS, and Lambda .

This role will involve designing and implementing big data solutions while ensuring efficiency and scalability. If you are passionate about working with big data technologies and creating robust data solutions, this is an exciting opportunity to join our team.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain big data applications using Java , Spark , and Scala to handle and process large volumes of data.
• Utilize AWS technologies such as EMR (Big Data Platform) , EKS , and Lambda to build scalable and high-performance solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver data-driven features and improvements.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve the performance of big data applications and pipelines.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continually enhance the development process and technology stack.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members.

Must-Have Skills :

• 12 years of experience in application development, with a strong focus on Java , Spark , and Scala for big data applications.
• Hands-on experience with AWS technologies such as EMR , EKS , and Lambda .
• Expertise in building and optimizing data pipelines and architectures to support data-driven applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Nice-to-Have Skills :

• Knowledge of AWS Airflow for workflow automation and orchestration.
• Familiarity with other AWS services and tools related to big data.
• Experience in a leadership or mentoring role within a data engineering team.
