Job Details
Responsibilities :
- Manage a caseload involving personal injury matters, from intake through resolution.
- Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in personal injury cases.
- Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, motions, discovery, and other litigation materials.
- Conduct and defend depositions.
- Negotiate settlements for personal injury cases, including communicating with claim representatives and opposing counsel.
- Conduct legal research and analysis of relevant laws, regulations, and legal articles to prepare for case presentation.
- Counsel clients on their legal rights, discussing case strategies and potential outcomes.
- Develop relationships with clients, maintaining regular contact to update them on case progress.
- Collaborate with legal staff and senior attorneys to develop legal strategies.
Qualifications :
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
- Must be licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury litigation.
