The Registered Behavior Technician will implement ABA based intervention programs as assigned and monitored by the Program Coordinator to develop individualized verbal treatment plans, monitor progress, and to evaluate the effectiveness of the plans for the child and family as directed by Children’s Services Program Coordinator.
The Registered Behavior Technician must be supervised by a BCBA at least 5% of the time spent providing ABA based intervention.
Essential Job Functions :
- Assist in implementation of behavior program for programming as instructed by Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
- Prepare materials / activities for implementing program plan and provide all required data.
- Participate as needed to assist with families, professionals and staff for implementation of program plan.
- Attend training programs and program activities as deemed necessary by the Director of Services and Administrative Assistant.
- Implement individual objectives with children and record data as directed by Program Coordinator, Early Childhood Developmental Specialist or Therapist.
- Assist the Early Childhood Developmental Specialist to ensure that objectives accomplished in the therapy setting are generalized to other settings.
- Maintain protection of client privacy regarding any information maintained by the organization regarding services and / or operations.
Will access only client information needed for the implementation of activities required for this position.
- Provide training to parents and other classroom staff in ABA based intervention programs.
