Job Responsibilities :
- Ensure the integrity of financial records by maintaining internal controls in compliance with GAAP.
- Lead the month-end close process and prepare insightful monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Oversee invoicing, payments, collections, and cash management processes.
- Spearhead budgeting, forecasting, and strategic alignment across departments.
- Monitor project costs, profitability, inventory valuation, reconciliation, and physical counts.
- Initiate projects to enhance business efficiency and profitability.
- Calculate and pay sales taxes for multiple states.
- Lead and support external audits and reviews.
- Prepare ROI analyses for business cases and capital investments.
- Manage institutional investment funds.
- Process government data requests (US Census, EEOC).
- Streamline accounting processes and implement best practices.
- Oversee payroll processing.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in accounting.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification.
- 8+ years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Thorough knowledge of GAAP, operational accounting, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in general ledger, financial reporting, and accounting systems.
- Expertise in Microsoft Dynamics, Paylocity (desired), and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Experience with Business Intelligence and / or relational databases.
- Working knowledge of federal, state, and local tax compliance regulations and reporting.
- Experience with 401k and profit-sharing processing (desired).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Salary : $120,000-$150,000
