WHAT TO EXPECT
As a Tax Manager, your day is a blend of project management and hands-on tax work. You kickstart by assessing your assigned clients and their specific tax projects, evaluating scope, timelines, and resource needs.
You then independently steer each project, ensuring all tasks are ticked off and deadlines met. This includes collaborating closely with clients to gather vital info and liaising with internal teams when necessary.
You prepare business returns, like the 1065 and trust tax returns. Plus, you conduct comprehensive reviews of tax returns, catching errors and spotting improvement opportunities.
Sometimes, you even dive in and work directly on tax returns, using your expertise and keen eye for detail. When our clients thrive, so do we, and it's a satisfying feeling!
