About the Role :
We're seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Technical Lead to mentor, support, and guide our team of cloud engineers in designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure.
As a hands-on technical lead, you'll contribute to process improvements, conduct research, and provide recommendations for new technologies and tools to drive efficiency and service quality.
Responsibilities :
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment, guiding and mentoring a team of cloud engineers
- Lead regular team meetings for architecture / design reviews, code reviews, cross-team collaboration, and training sessions
- Design and manage scalable, resilient cloud infrastructure and automation tooling for routine operation tasks
- Oversee Azure resource implementation, configuration, and maintenance
- Ensure reliability, availability, and performance through proactive monitoring, optimization, and troubleshooting
- Manage cloud costs and optimize resource usage for cost efficiency
- Collaborate with solution architects and partners to ensure solutions meet standards, security controls, and best practices
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and new technology adoption
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure features, tools, and best practices, sharing knowledge with the team
- Investigate and monitor current-state cloud usage, solutions, risks, gaps, and limitations, recommending solutions and optimizations
Requirements :
- 10+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure, with expertise in cross-platform technology areas
- 5+ years of experience building, deploying, and managing public cloud IaaS and PaaS services
- Experience with automated cloud infrastructure, scripting, and automation
- Proficiency in Linux and Microsoft Windows server administration
- Knowledge of configuration management and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) toolsets (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
