We are currently looking for a Full-Time Route Delivery Driver in our Transportation Department!!

Salary : 80-85K per year

The Route Delivery Driver is responsible for driving a tractor trailer for the purpose of delivering and unloading various products for Earp Distribution customers.

This requires excellent customer service skills and working in accordance with state and DOT regulations and Earp Distribution safety preferred work methods.

Working overtime hours, weekends, and starting at various departure times over a 24-hour delivery period required to meet our customer's needs.

Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following :

• Delivering on time and without error
• Maintaining a high level of safety and professionalism
• Pre & Post trip inspections
• Legal and safe tractor / trailer operation

Requirements

• HS diploma / GED required
• Must be 23+ years of age
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with a clean driving record
• Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate
• 1+ year of commercial driving experience
• Ability to operator tractor trailer, lift gate, on-board computer, ELD, paperless delivery scanner and electric jack operation
• Knowledge regarding Customer food safety and delivery requirements
• Understand & meet FMCSA regulations
• Understand & follow all Earp policies and procedures
• Reliable & Courteous
• Customer service skills
• Defensive driving skills

PHYSICAL DEMANDS :

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, sit, bend, stand, walk, reach, climb, stoop, and use hands and fingers to grasp and feel.

The employee is required as needed to wheel product down trailer ramp and must frequently lift and / or move up to 55 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

The employee is required to work varying hours as needed.

WORK ENVIRONMENT :

The Route Delivery Driver will primarily work outdoors while unloading trailer and is often exposed to very hot or very cold temperatures.

The Route Delivery Driver executes routes in a single and team operation.
