What You Will Do

Our Defense and National Security Segment consultants work with the Department of Justice (DOJ) and Components to optimize case management by providing mission critical support in financial management, debt collection, data analysis, and IT modernization.

This high performing team helps an investigation-focused component of the DOJ identify, design, and implement improved processes that transform and enhance their investigative workflows, and provide lasting change by empowering the case teams to sustain improved operations.

This role will be part of a high-performing team helping a DOJ entity identify, design, and implement improved processes that transform their debt collection and reporting functions by providing internal audit and program operations support.

The role entails testing / evaluating management practices and procedures with regards to sound internal controls and recommending process improvements and reviewing records to assure compliance with rules and regulations.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated proficiency in case management and / or litigation support and experience performing examinations and appraisal of financial records, court documents, financial and management reports, management controls, policies, and practices affecting the operating results of an activity, experience reviewing records to assure compliance with rules and regulations.

What You Will Need

  • US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline
  • A minimum of 6 years of federal accounting-related work experience in litigation support, case management, or government accounting

What Would Be Nice To Have

  • Demonstrated experience using PowerApps, SharePoint and / or Salesforce
  • Demonstrated experience working with Attorneys and / or law enforcement investigations
  • Demonstrated experience providing case management and / or litigation support functions
  • Active Public Trust Moderate Background Investigation (MBI)
