About This Opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity for students local to Salt Lake City to gain hands-on experience in a corporate setting.
It’s an ideal fit for someone pursuing a career in Communications or Business.
You will have the opportunity to :
- Collaborate with stakeholders involved in Customer Care projects to provide valuable real-world experience.
- Work closely with each Product Owner on the team, gaining continuous insights into the role of a Product Owner.
- Receive specialized training on the Software Development process and understand where Product Management fits in.
Responsibilities
- Have regular, bi-weekly meetings with a stakeholder (software team) group
- Communicate / Refine stakeholder requests by
- Writing scope in Jira
- Creating any mockups or visual documentation
- Meet with the software team weekly to discuss ongoing work and introduce new work
- Meet with developers ad hoc to clarify work in progress
Qualifications
- Interns are required to work 20 hours per week (flexible M-F schedule) year-round. 3.0 GPA and above
- Students entering their junior year through graduate school are eligible
Students enrolled at a college near Salt Lake City, Utah are preferred.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities while balancing school, work, and personal
- Knowledge of JIRA is preferred
- Microsoft Office Tools experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proactive attitude with a passion for deal-making
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
