Job Description and Duties

Under the supervision of the Supervising Workers' Compensation Consultant Officer (SWCCO), incumbent performs a variety of technical and professional duties of average difficulty relating to the Audit and Enforcement Unit.

Prepares and organizes reports for audit files submitted into the Electronic Adjudication Management System in order to complete a high volume of tasks for the Audit and Enforcement Unit.

The incumbent must be able to maintain appropriate confidentiality at all times due to the nature of the work performed.

Additionally, the incumbent must be dependable and have the ability to work cooperatively with staff at all levels both within and outside the Department.

The incumbent must have the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing in order to complete work assignments.

Must good work habits such as punctuality and organizational skills.

This posting may be used to fill future vacancies in accordance with 2 CCR 249.3

The Staff Services Analyst classification is being appropriated for this position. If you have list eligibility as a Staff Services Analyst, it will be used to hire you as a Workers' Compensation Assistant.

Candidates with Staff Services Analyst eligibility must meet the minimum qualifications for both Staff Services Analyst and Workers' Compensation Assistant.

Working Conditions

This position is located at :

320 West 4th Street, 9th floor

Los Angeles, CA 90013-1105

The incumbent works in a cubicle environment in an office setting with artificial light and temperature control. The incumbent is required to work extensively on the computer as necessary for email communication, research, drafting policy and procedure documents, and other purposes.

The building is a high rise building and the office is located on the 9th floor. This position is a full time in-person office only position.

This position is not a telework position.
