Data Analyst
Direct Hire
Target Pay $80K+ DOE plus bonus
Hybrid in Oklahoma City
We are working with a client looking for a data analyst that has worked heavily with oil / gas data. This person will be looking at well-specific data including pressures, temperatures, gas volumes, etc.
Required :
- 3+ years of experience as a data analyst
- SQL and SSRS
- PowerBI
- Flowcal
- Understanding of gas analysis
- Background with measurement analyst and / or production accounting data
Day to Day :
- Develops data, reporting, and dashboarding solutions by studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes
- Create reports / dashboards to assist with timely / efficient company decisions
- Continually assess systems, processes, and previously developed solutions to find opportunities for improvements.
- Maintains integrity of meter and volume information in measurement data system for assigned assets.
- Creates, reviews, and distributes various reports needed to validate the accuracy of measurement data.
- Provides meter factor trending by system with explanation of factors with variance for assigned assets.
- Possesses an understanding of gas measurement field practices, sampling and analysis, metering principles and measurement technology.
- Imports and evaluates meter proving, meter calibrations and gas analyses to ensure data quality and conformance with contractual obligations.
- Ensures daily and monthly volumes are validated and closed in a timely manner for uploading into accounting database.
- Troubleshoots measurement deficiencies with supervisor, field personnel and accounting groups.
