Product Owner

Our Client, a Music Technology Company is looking for a Software Product Owner to join their team REMOTELY!

FULLY REMOTE : must be in and available to work Pacific Standard Time.

This Is A 6 Month Contract Open to Conversion!

As the Software Product Owner, you will support music technology software products primarily leading an Agile team to create a Copyright Licensing Platform

Responsibilities :

• Run architecture sessions, lead code reviews, work with your team on testing features, writing automated tests and ensure bugs are fixed.
• With your team, build a system that integrates with existing applications & functions across Licensing, Copyright, and Legal Clearance for the business.

The application will also communicate with other UMG applications and external publishers using DDEX messaging.

• Manage the product development work to create a strong product, finding the highest value work and the most efficient sprint practices.
• Nurture ideas and solutions to business challenges and opportunities; perform detailed analysis and scoping activities to develop the technical product details for new capabilities.
• Schedule and lead meetings to identify issues and fixes.
• Communicate effectively across multiple lines of communication to achieve business objectives and project goals.
• Help the business product owner define, manage, and accept user stories.
• Write and own stories related to technical debt.
• Have operational responsibility for the software you and your team builds and you will have the opportunity to collaborate with business users, operations, and product owners on the future of the platform.

• Previous experience in material management, procurement, or supply chain
• 8 years related experience in software solutions
• PostgreSQL
• JAVA
• Javascript
• ElasticSearch
• Agile Product Owner experience
• AWS is a plus
• software delivery life cycle exp, including : gathering and developing detailed functional requirements; breaking down complex requirements into independent user stories;
• capturing detailed acceptance criteria; building a release plan with user stories in collaboration with the customer; managing the backlog;

incorporating user feedback; and documenting system capabilities, business processes and handover documentation for support.
