Job Title : Quality Control Laboratory TechnicianJob DescriptionThe quality control lab technician will perform quality control testing on products in the chemical manufacturing industry.
Will perform testing on in-process and finished products to ensure specifications are met. Make recommendations and adjustments to batches that are out of spec.
Testing involved will include :
- Density
- Particle Size Distribution (PSD)
- Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET)
- Carbon Content Analyzer (via Leco instrument)
- Moisture content
- Viscosity
- pH and gas generation (densimeter)
- Rheology
- TGA (Thermal Gravimetric Analysis)
- Stability Analyzer
- X-Ray Diffraction
- Karl Fischer (for moisture)
