EDML consists of 5 towers : Center for Machine Learning (C4ML), Risk Tech, Finance Tech, People Tech, Enterprise Data Tech, and a Horizontal Chief of Staff office supporting all of the towers.

We are currently hiring talented Agile Program Leads to support the Risk Tech organization!In Risk Tech, we provide the foundation for Capital One to thrive in an uncertain world.

We build data-driven tools that use machine learning to prevent risks & automatically detect issues before they impact our business, our customers, or our communities.

As an Agile Program Lead, you will be a Release Train Engineer, a Program Delivery Lead, or an Agile mentor in the Agile, Scrum, and Kanban delivery space.

You will leverage proven frameworks and drive the appropriate Agile methodology to focus on predictable, quality delivery and drive continuous improvement in your teams.

You will remove impediments that obstruct the program''s goals, and preserve the team''s ability to rapidly respond to change.

General Responsibilities : Cross Team DeliveryMastery of complex facilitation and dependency management techniques (cross team, cross department)Drive delivery and continuous improvement by utilizing feedback and metrics (quality, delivery rate, etc.

to identify areas of opportunityUnderstands domain architecture and targets to identify upstream / downstream dependencies and to support the program in risk managementProvide regular and open communication across the program and stakeholders for transparency and awareness of progress and impedimentsHelp establish governance structure where decision-making is weighted toward empowered teamsEnsure that teams / program are well managed in delivery controls / compliance to minimize operational / reputational riskPartners with technical leaders and others to support program / organization''s automation (testing, pipelines, deployments) / DevOps journeyPartners with Product Operations and other Agile Program Leads to further develop scaling model practices within and across value stream(s), business stakeholders, and customersPartners with peers and leaders across Product management, Tech, and Design to gain further momentum on our overall Product TransformationLeadership and CoachingThe Agile Program Lead will be a direct people leader for 3-5 Agile Delivery LeadsTeach, mentor, and coach teams, Agile Delivery Leads, Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and product partners on emerging Agile and Lean methodsUtilizes feedback and metrics (quality, delivery rate, etc.

Basic Qualifications : At least 7 years of experience in Technology Delivery (software or infrastructure)At least 5 Years of Agile experience utilizing Scrum, Kanban or SAFe methodologiesAt least 3 years of people management experiencePreferred Qualifications : Bachelor''s Degree4+ years of experience with Jira4+ years of experience with Confluence8+ years of Agile delivery experience utilizing Scrum, Kanban or SAFe frameworksScrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), or PMI''s Agile Certified Professional (ACP) certificationSAFe certified or experience (or other scaled Agile frameworks)At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.
