Position Overview : We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Purchasing Manager to join our team. This role is crucial to the company’s supply chain operations, ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of chemicals and raw materials essential for producing our innovative polyurethane polymers.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in chemical procurement and be an excellent communicator, capable of collaborating across all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities : Oversee the procurement of raw materials, with a particular focus on chemicals used in the production of polyurethane polymers.
Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure high-quality materials, timely deliveries, and competitive pricing.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with suppliers to achieve cost efficiencies.Monitor market trends and conditions to ensure the company remains competitive in sourcing strategies.
Collaborate closely with R&D, production, and finance departments to forecast material needs and ensure alignment with the company’s operational goals.
Implement and manage purchasing policies and procedures in line with Company’s growth strategy.Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in procurement processes and contribute to system upgrades.
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations when procuring chemicals and other materials.Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of purchasing experience, with a strong emphasis on chemical procurement.Proven ability to negotiate favorable terms and manage supplier relationships.
Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting with team members at all levels of the company.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with ERP systems and other procurement-related software.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
