Job Description

The HR Generalist at plays a vital role in supporting the organization's operations by managing various human resources functions.

This role ensures that the company attracts, retains, and develops top talent while fostering a positive and productive work environment.

  • Conduct new hire orientation and ensure a smooth onboarding process for all new employees.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and support.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive work environment by addressing and resolving employee issues in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of performance management programs.
  • Support managers in conducting performance reviews and setting employee goals.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain and update HR policies and procedures to reflect best practices and legal requirements.
  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment and inquiries.
  • Coordinate with benefits providers to resolve issues and ensure accurate and timely benefits administration.
  • Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives and recognition programs.
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze data to identify trends and make recommendations for improving employee retention.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
  • Generate reports and provide HR metrics to support decision-making processes.
  • Provide guidance to managers and employees on disciplinary procedures and conflict resolution.
  • Oversee the preparation and processing of monthly payroll for all employees.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee inquiries regarding payroll.
  • Coordinate with the finance department to ensure timely distribution of paychecks or direct deposits.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives to support the overall goals of the department.

Desired Skill & Expertise

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a Human Resources role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
