Job Duties : Vice President, Matching, Shaping, Allocation with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Salt Lake City, Utah. Responsible for providing operational support and real-time risk management of executions, trade allocation, reconciliations and position management.
Identify gaps in client workflows to increase Straight Through Processing (STP) rates for trade and margin flow processes for both existing clients and new onboards.
Work with Engineering teams on infrastructure solutions to facilitate pre and post trades. Develop back testing methodologies and models to support maintain any enhancement released.
Create client trade flow analysis packs which provide clients with transparency on their front to back workflow. Work with internal stakeholders to identify enhancements that would impact multi-level clients and develop solutions that will help improve the Listed Derivatives offering.
Work with external exchanges on the back of their releases to ensure seamless integration with GS (Goldman Sachs) systems.
Identify opportunities to improve current processes and develop creative solutions for Listed Derivatives workflow.

Job Requirements : Master’s Degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Mathematics, Finance, Computational Finance, Computer Science, or a related computational or analytical field, such as Engineering Management and Electronic Engineering and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role OR Bachelor’s Degree (U.
S. or foreign equivalent) in Mathematics, Finance, Computational Finance, Computer Science, or a related computational or analytical field, such as Engineering Management and Electronic Engineering and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role.
- Prior experience must include four (4) years (if a Master’s) or five (5) years (if a Bachelor’s) with the following : working on development, production implementation, and maintenance of new system integration both internally and with external vendors;
- covering Listed Derivatives or Futures and working on market nuance and trade clearing, including experience with Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME), Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), European Derivatives Exchange (EUREX), Singapore Exchange (SGX), Hong Kong Futures Exchanges (HKFE), and Montreal Futures Exchange;
- maintaining client relationship to ensure best services, including working with clients and influencing their behavior; working on trading and allocation dataset manipulation and analysis across Salesforce, Tableau, and Alteryx to provide summary level knowledge back to clients and internal stakeholders;
working with different Listed Derivatives trading types and the downstream impacts of trading flows; and developing test scripts for complex releases.
