Director - Data Platforms

Overview

The GB OneSource Program Leader’ will be responsible for developing, overseeing and managing a global analytics platform and will partner with Gallagher Bassett’s global business and IT organizations to accomplish the following objectives : Develop and implement data strategies, ensuring data quality and integrity, and driving data-driven decision-making across the organization Establish strategies to demonstrate the power of data & analytics to achieve GB’s business objectives and drive successful outcomes both for GB and our clients Collaborate with business stakeholders and a team of analytics professionals to prioritize initiatives, define project goals, and ensure successful execution of Gallagher Bassett’s analytics initiatives Oversee and lead the execution of global analytics platform.

Coordinate and align the efforts of analytics, data science, IT, and business resources to achieve the desired outcomes Drive change management process for implementation of new analytics platform Be a leading contributor of ideas for using analytics technologies to improve GB’s competitiveness, quality, responsiveness, and efficiency How you'll make an impact Data strategies (leader) : Develop and implement data strategies that align with GB’s goals and objectives.

Includes identifying data sources, defining data governance policies, and establishing data quality standards Stakeholder engagement (leader) : Work with cross-functional global teams and stakeholders, including executives, business leaders, IT and external partners Program execution (leader) : Oversee and manage data analytics projects from initiation to completion - defining project scope, creating project plans, and coordinating resources to ensure successful project delivery Business IT project management (partner) : Team with IT project leader(s) in managing project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources Data driven decision making (leader) : Analyze & interpret data to deliver insights and recommendations to stakeholders Team collaboration & mentorship (contributor) : Provide guidance, mentoring, and support to team members, to ensure the team's overall success Continuous learning (leader) : Stay updated with the latest advancements, industry trends, and best practices in analytics space About You Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, with both technical and business credentials a plus Experience : Ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in program management role, ideally in a thought leadership & delivery execution position, with demonstrable experience in data management, analytics, or business intelligence #LI-SV1 Compensation and benefits On top of a competitive salary, great teams and exciting career opportunities, we also offer a wide range of benefits.
