Do you strive to make a difference in higher education? Are you looking for a rewarding career opportunity to be a part of our students’ educational success and lifelong learning?

The Future Instructor Training Program (FIT) addresses the need to attract and hire instructors who are diverse and able to teach in an equity-minded and culturally affirming manner.
The purpose of the program is to foster growth of the next generation of community college faculty with a focus on serving the growing diverse student population in our region.
Statistics from the State Chancellor’s Office show 72% of community college students are students of color, and yet only 36% of community college faculty are faculty of color.
