Director of Asset Protection

Job Description

As the Director of Asset Protection, you will be an integral member of the team by developing and implementing asset protection initiatives that support and protect our stores and Division office teams.

This position will be part of the Northern California Division office reporting to the VP of Operations.

You are excited about this role because :

• You understand how to promote the adherence to company policies and procedures.
• You are adept at partnering crossing functionally to conduct regular store inspection checks ensuring compliance of all operational processes related to shrink reduction, loss controls and physical security;

assist in follow-up action plans or maintenance calls as needed.

• You can develop business goals, team strategies, and innovate on new approaches, processes, policies, and procedures to drive continuous improvement mitigating internal and external theft.
• You have a strong investigative understanding of how to approach internal and external theft, misappropriation, and fraud issues.
• You understand how to investigate Employment related allegations such as sexual harassment, discrimination, workplace violence, wage, and hour issues, etc.

as requested by Human Resources and Associate Relations.

• You are excited to assist in the training of store management and associates in the areas of, but not limited to shrink awareness, operational shrink processes, internal and external theft, and serious incident awareness.
• You are a strong partner with law enforcement, other retailers, ORCA and online buy / sell companies to effectively build theft cases for prosecution and restitution recovery.
• You know how to lead and execute business critical high impact projects for the division and ensure they are delivered within planned timelines and expected output.
• You demonstrate leadership and collaboration with division teams and the Corporate Asset Protection team.

Salary range is $131,200 to $184,000 annually. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications.

There may be flexibility for exceptional candidates.

Education Level : The most appropriate minimum education for this position is a bachelor's degree.

Experience Level : The most appropriate level of experience for this position is 7 to 10 years plus the education listed above.
