Addison Group has a client located in St. Paul with an immediate need for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a minimum of 2 years working within Accounts Receivable.

The ideal candidates will have experience researching deductions, communicating with vendors, resolving discrepancies, and processing full-cycle accounts receivable and more.

This position pays up to $33 per hour depending on experience. This is a full-time, in-office role.

Responsibilities :

• Timely and accurate application of daily cash receipts.
• Research and accounting for customer trade and non-trade deductions.
• Coordination with sales representatives, brokers and customers regarding deduction activity.
• Manage customer aging balances to meet KPI goals; work directly with customers to resolve past due amounts and recover unauthorized deductions.
• Prepare deduction packages for approval.
• Prepare and process broker commission payments.
• Process credit memos, as needed.
• Comply with policies and procedures; identify and recommend process improvement.

Requirements :

• Minimum 2 years high volume Accounts Receivable experience
• Consumer Packaged Goods Trade Spending / Deduction accounting experience a plus
• Strong working knowledge of Excel, complex ERPs (Microsoft Dynamics 365, Navision, JDEdwards, SAP); Trade Deduction software experience a plus (FlintFox, Blacksmith)
• Agility in learning new software; Ability to simultaneously manage multiple systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• High level of flexibility in dynamic environment
