Position Summary
Be the go-to advisor to our businesses and Leadership Team related to complex accounting topics Responsible for a range of complex tasks associated with accounting such as acquisitions, stock compensation, capital market transactions and revenue recognition, and related internal and external reporting requirements.
Manage the consolidation and close process including analysis and preparation of financial reporting deliverables used by business leads and the Leadership Team.
Position Responsibilities :
- Provides analysis and consultation of technical accounting to the businesses and Executive Leadership team. Determine and document the Company’s accounting policies and position on relevant transactions.
- Involved in internal meetings with Executive Team and preparation of Board materials
- Review quarterly reports (10-Q), annual reports (10- K) and current reports (8-K).
- Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual closing cycles and monitor progress against reporting cycle milestones.
- Maintains fiscal responsibility and ensures the establishment and administration of adequate internal controls within the organization.
- Oversight of the Company’s intercompany accounting and consolidation processes.
- Responsible for administration, accounting, and reporting of all equity based transactions.
- Monitor the development and applicability of emerging accounting and reporting rules being deliberated by the SEC, US GAAP, PCAOB, or other regulations.
- Assists with quarterly reviews and annual audits.
- Participates in cross-functional projects.
Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required :
- Ability to communicate complex matters to business partners
- Deep knowledge and experience of public accounting policies and practices
- Advanced technical accounting knowledge
- Thorough knowledge of GAAP, SEC, ESG and other related regulations
- Strong understanding of MS Office (advanced Excel, powerpoint, etc.)
- Experience with Oracle (Hyperion) is preferred
- Strong analytical / critical thinking
- Ability to coach and lead teams

Position Qualifications :
Education :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related area
Active CPA required
Experience :
7+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience
Oracle R12 and Hyperion Financial Management experience preferred
