About the Job

We are looking for to hire a Warehouse Operations Supervisor- Remote to ensure the efficient operation of warehouse facilities and fleet management by overseeing the daily functions of warehouse teams, managing a total staff of approximately 10-15 clerks and drivers distributed across multiple facilities.

Key responsibilities include ensuring workflow efficiency, inventory management, and fleet coordination, as well as addressing personnel matters and providing training.

This role places a strong emphasis on safety compliance and involves implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall operational performance.

Locations

This position is primarily remote but requires approximately 20% travel to warehouses in Atlanta and Miami

Job Responsibilities :

• Supervise Daily Operations : Oversee daily activities of warehouse teams, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to operational standards.
• Inventory Management : Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and coordinate replenishment to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Fleet Coordination : Collaborate with fleet operations, ensuring timely maintenance and efficient routing of vehicles.
• Team Leadership : Provide guidance, training, and support to warehouse staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Performance Monitoring : Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports on operational efficiency and team performance.
• Safety Compliance : Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, conducting safety training and inspections.
• Problem Resolution : Address operational challenges and personnel issues, facilitating effective communication between team members and management.
• Timesheet Approval : Review and approve timesheets, ensuring accurate payroll processing for warehouse staff.
• Continuous Improvement : Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
• Customer Service Support : Collaborate with customer service teams to address any order or delivery issues, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office particularly Excel
• Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures.
• Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls.
• Clean driving record; Valid drivers' license.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong people skills.
• Available to work extended hours; some travel required.
• Minimum Educational requirement : High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Compensation and Benefits :

• Full-time employment with a yearly salary of $60,000 to $80,000
