Primary Therapy Source is looking for a Intervention Specialist to join our team. We are an out-patient organization that offers Physical, Occupational, Speech, and Behavioral therapy to patients of all ages.

Qualified candidates will have the following skills / requirements :
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in human services field from a national accredited university or college
- Coursework in Child Development, Learning Theory, Applied Behavioral Analysis
- Minimum of 12 months of supervised experience with children with developmental disabilities
- Pass and maintain a criminal background check
- Have and maintain a current driver’s license, car insurance and reliable transportation
Duties and Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to :
- Provides Habilitative Intervention by assisting you client in their participation and involvement in their individualized program
- Provides Family education and training, as needed
- Provides Interdisciplinary Training
- Follows and implements documented treatment plans
- Adapts / modifies instructional materials as determined by patients needs and abilities
- Must be able to interact and communicate effectively with children and adults
- Must be able to react with flexibility and sensitivity to changing situations
- Consults with other professionals regarding participant needs
- Effectively communicates with parents / guardians and Clinical Supervisor (CS)
- Provide monitoring and evaluation of programs and alert Clinical Supervisor of need for plan modifications.
- Work in a professional and collaborative manner with all team members
- Follow the policies and procedures put in place by Primary Therapy Source DDA
- Attends a minimum of 12 hours of ongoing training, annually.
- Become certified in first aid and CPR within 60 days of employment
- Maintains a high standard of ethical conduct
- Any other duties and responsibilities specified by supervisor
