What will your day look like? As a Manager, IT Business Engagement, you will :
- Lead and nurture a high-performing IT support team, comprising individuals with the requisite skills and expertise.
- Develop comprehensive project schedules, ensuring timely project delivery while proactively managing risks and addressing issues as they arise.
- Mentor and empower a team of business analysts to support enterprise-level systems and applications, driving both strategic initiatives and day-to-day projects.
- Cultivate robust relationships with business leaders, fostering alignment and a shared vision to achieve key business objectives.
- Oversee the creation and upkeep of project documentation and artifacts, ensuring adherence to established project processes.
- Contribute to the development and monitoring of the Business Engagement team budget, supporting prudent expenditure management.
- Maintain a balance of skills and competencies across project teams within IT and the wider business.
- Collaborate closely with business and IT delivery teams to ensure the successful delivery of technology solutions within budgetary constraints.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, integrating them into the company’s technological ecosystem.
- Provide constructive coaching and development feedback to employees through formal Performance Management processes.
You will be a good fit as a Manager, IT Business Engagement if you have :
- Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field is essential.
- Demonstrated track record of ten (10) years in the information technology realm or equivalent experience, encompassing project management, program management, systems integrations, and data management.
- Proficiency in the following areas is essential :
- IT project management methodologies and lifecycle best practices.
- Techniques and practices pertinent to vendor management.
- Competence in the following domains is imperative :
- IT project management principles and the best practices associated with project lifecycles.
- Effective techniques and practices for managing vendors within the IT landscape.
