Overview

MBP is looking for a Scheduler in the US east coast area with experience providing schedule development and / or review services on transportation, rail, construction projects.

Proficient in Oracle P6 and experienced with one or more of the following : Microsoft Project, Phoenix Project Manager, or similar is preferred.

Responsibilities

Main Duties :

Performs reviews of contractor-submitted baseline and periodic schedule updates for compliance with the specification and overall reasonableness.

  • Provides schedule development and updates services for contractors.
  • Develops and / or reviews time extension requests.
  • Assists with the development and / or analysis of post-construction delay analyses
  • Analyze drawings, specifications and statement of work in preparation for schedule review services .
  • Evaluate the actual construction status relative to the proposed plan.
  • Analyze and communicate the impact of changes to the schedule.
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required.

Qualifications

Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to relate technical knowledge to a non-technical audience.
  • Detail oriented and can manage multiple priorities with minimal guidance.
  • Skilled at developing and maintaining relationships.
  • High degree of initiative, personal responsibility, and integrity.
  • Proficiency in Primavera (P6) software.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Education

  • Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • 3+ years of scheduling experience on construction projects.
  • Specific title based on candidate's education, background, and level of experience.
