Overview
MBP is looking for a Scheduler in the US east coast area with experience providing schedule development and / or review services on transportation, rail, construction projects.
Proficient in Oracle P6 and experienced with one or more of the following : Microsoft Project, Phoenix Project Manager, or similar is preferred.
Responsibilities
Main Duties :
Performs reviews of contractor-submitted baseline and periodic schedule updates for compliance with the specification and overall reasonableness.
- Provides schedule development and updates services for contractors.
- Develops and / or reviews time extension requests.
- Assists with the development and / or analysis of post-construction delay analyses
- Analyze drawings, specifications and statement of work in preparation for schedule review services .
- Evaluate the actual construction status relative to the proposed plan.
- Analyze and communicate the impact of changes to the schedule.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
Qualifications
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to relate technical knowledge to a non-technical audience.
- Detail oriented and can manage multiple priorities with minimal guidance.
- Skilled at developing and maintaining relationships.
- High degree of initiative, personal responsibility, and integrity.
- Proficiency in Primavera (P6) software.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Education
- Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of scheduling experience on construction projects.
- Specific title based on candidate's education, background, and level of experience.
