The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role.

Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and / or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.

Description

Utilizing statistical software, cleanse and transform large amounts of raw data to build and maintain prototype data solutions to meet the needs of the enterprise.

Help ensure those solutions can be scaled appropriately

  • Under technical direction, work within limits and authority on assignments of moderate technical complexity and coordination
  • Create visualizations to provide guidance and assistance to lower level associates and other functional areas
  • Identify relationships and trends in source data to participate in the design and development of data solutions that enable effective self-service data consumption and describe their value to the customer
  • Work with IT, assist in building robust systems and data solutions focusing on long-term and ongoing maintenance and support
  • Ensure data solutions include deliverables required to achieve secure, timely, complete and accurate data to meet the needs of Regulators
  • Apply a working knowledge of the principles of metadata, data lineage, business definitions, compliance, and data security to project work
  • Understand new technologies as needed to progress initiatives
  • Telecommuting permitted up to 60%

Qualifications

Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Accounting, Data Science or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a Data Solutions Analyst-related occupation.

Position requires demonstrable experience in the following :

  • Coding for data management, data warehousing, or other data environments
  • Agile Techniques
  • Business Intelligence tools including visualization and user experience techniques
  • Firm understanding of data warehousing concepts, procedures, and practices
  • Working knowledge of the principles of metadata
  • Creating data lineage patterns
  • Creating and maintaining business definitions
  • Data security
  • Compliance implications
  • Telecommuting permitted up to 60%
