As an RV Technician at Bretz RV & Marine, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining RV's. Whether you’re experienced or looking to start a new career, we are open to training the right individual who is motivated to learn and develop their skills in the RV industry.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform inspections and assist in diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues on RVs.
• Conduct repairs and maintenance tasks, including HVAC systems, appliances, slide-outs, and awnings (with training if needed).
• Install and upgrade RV components such as solar panels, satellite systems, and entertainment systems.
• Ensure all work meets manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors to explain repairs and provide maintenance recommendations.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements :

• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication.
• Certification from RVTI or similar accreditation is a plus, but not required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Physical Requirements :

• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment and parts (up to 50 lbs).
• Comfortable working in various conditions and tight spaces.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM
• Currently not rotating Saturdays but be aware that could change down the road

Compensation

• Our best make over $100,000 annually
• $22-39 per hour (Based heavily on prior experience and current RVTI certification level)

About Our Dealership

Bretz RV & Marine opened for business in Missoula, Montana, in 1967. Until then, Frank and Vi Bretz had been operating a service station and renting U-Hauls in central Missoula.

A search for a new camping trailer ended up turning into a new business opportunity. Not only did the Bretz family get a new camper, they decided to get into the business of selling and renting small travel trailers.

Today Bretz RV & Marine is still a family-owned and operated business with five dealerships across Montana and Idaho. We are fortunate to have grown from just over 100 employees to nearly 400 employees in the last five years.

We do all we can to offer our teams an excellent place to work and advance in our company. We start by finding great people with high energy and then find the best place for them to be successful in our dealerships.
