Position Summary...

What you'll do...

We need an experienced leader to create and manage programs in the Seller Experience Program Management Office (PMO) at Walmart.

They'll focus on finding creative solutions to improve Walmart's reputation as a trusted online marketplace for both sellers and customers.

This person will lead programs related to policy, performance and risk, build strong partnerships across departments, and ensure smooth operations while launching new services .

Key Responsibilities & Expectations

Cross-functional collaboration :

Bring together different departments or functional areas across the organization to drive collaboration & alignment on how to achieve common goals most effectively .

Develop processes to support these outcomes and improve decision-making, problem solving & innovation between teams.

PMO :

Develop comprehensive PMO and portfolio plans, including scope, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation across verticals and develop program management standards and templates.

Technical Acumen

Deep understanding of customer and architectural requirements relevant for all products within the domain.

Process and policy improvements

Develop & leverage data driven insights to continuously examine & optimize business processe s and p o licies , workflows & tools for both internal & external users with the goal of increas ing efficiency, reduc ing cost, or improv ing the customer & seller experience.

Strategic problem solving :

Be a thought leader in the PMO space, bringing a systematic approach to solving complex business problems where no single 'right' answer exists.

The ability to clearly define, analyze and propose multiple solutions that solve for the underlying objective while clearly articulating expected impacts & tradeoffs is of critical importance.

Program Talent development :

Identify , cultivate, and recruit / retain top talent to the organization . Maintain uncompromising standards for associate performance, develop the succession planning as well as bench strength to unlock and produce the next generation of business and thought leaders for Walmart.

Program alignment :

Establish clear goals, objectives & success measures to support the short and long-term business strategy. Leverage the cross functional relationships you develop to create a nd communicate a cohesive, shared understandin g across all relevant teams and leaders.

Develop forums to regularly evaluate progress & prioritization based on changing business needs.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5 + years of PMO, project and program experience in software development technologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and driving technical initiatives from concept to delivery.
  • Proven track record of driving innovation and technical excellence within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Track record in developing and launching services, translating customer needs into business requirements.
  • In-depth knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends in the technology space.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on practical solutions that balance technical excellence with business needs.
  • Sound business judgement and the ability to influence others.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.

Bellevue, Washington US-11075 : The annual salary range for this position is $96,000.00-$186,000.00

Sunnyvale, California US-04396 / San Bruno, California US-08848 : The annual salary range for this position is $104,000.00-$202,000.00

Bentonville, Arkansas US-10735 : The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$155,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

2 years' experience leading cross-functional teams.

3 years' experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office.
