This Direct-Hire positions are in the Food and Drug Administration and is located in the Food and Drug Administration / Office of Regulatory Affairs / Office of Regulatory Science / Office of Food and Feed Laboratory Operations (OFFLO) and Office of Medical Products Tobacco and Specialty Laboratory Operations (OMPTSLO) which advises the Director on scientific issues related to medical products, tobacco, drugs, electronic product radiation, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and radionuclides in food.
Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of activities for the assigned organization relating to the preparation and coordination of documentation and provides other special program support related activities.
- Identifies actual or potential areas of imbalance or deficiency and recommends corrective action.
- Compiles and prepares a wide variety of continuing or one-time special statistical and narrative reports from records maintained.
- Serves as the Liaison to various FDA information resources management staff on projects.
- Obtains and coordinates responses for general programmatic information requested by members and committees of Congress, officials of other government agencies, industry and consumer representatives.
