Job Description :
We are looking for a System Engineer to join our project team focused on creating a unified Global Bill of Materials (BOM) that integrates Engineering BOM and Manufacturing BOM.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with teams to understand the current Global Design BOM system.
- Document the existing system and create a system diagram showing module / server connections and data exchange.
- Propose solutions for a new system environment.
- Assist in the creation and installation of the new system.
- Configure server environments and test connections to ensure functionality.
- Maintain documentation and installation procedures.
- Ensure high system and infrastructure availability.
- Understand integration between BOM, CATIA, and 3D Experience.
- Develop a roadmap for current and future systems.
Requirements :
- BS / MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience with BOM, CATIA V5 / V6, 3D Experience, and server administration.
- Experience working with IT teams (Network, Infrastructure, Security).
- Detail-oriented with the ability to understand the big picture.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
