Role
This role will collaborate with colleagues in the Alight Global Privacy Office and the extended Legal Department. It will also work with various business and functional units on a wide range of privacy compliance matters.
Responsibilities
- Assisting the privacy team in managing the global privacy program and implementing enhancements.
- Managing 3rd party vendor privacy risk management assessments.
- Servicing as a liaison with external partner on privacy related matters.
- Assisting with resolution of privacy questions and complaints. This includes researching root cause and document the responses according to policy / procedure and applicable regulations.
- Providing support in conducting Record of Processing Activities.
- Supporting the implementation of a global privacy controls framework, and monitoring and testing of those controls.
- Participating in the development, implementation, and coordinating of organizational records management practices and procedures.
- Providing support for the various activities of the global privacy program. These programs include Privacy Impact Assessments, reporting, policy and process generation, and overall privacy championing.
Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor's
- 8 + years of professional experience in a corporate setting
- Have 3-5 years of experience dedicated to privacy, data security and / or compliance
- Have IAPP Certification(s)
- Demonstrate knowledge of international, federal, and state laws and regulations regarding privacy and data security, including CCPA, HIPAA, and GDPR
- Be a US Citizen. This role supports services provided to the federal government and / or a federal government contractor.
Proof will be required to verify US citizenship status at time of hire
- Experience with OneTrust and ServiceNow platforms
- Be a team player and able to build relationships, both internally and externally, on a global scale
